Cannot update Google Chrome

I can't update Chrome on U. S. unlocked S10. Update will not install, just times out. I've tried clearing app cache, uninstalling updates, but nothing works. Any suggestions?

Try clearing data,cache, force stop play store

Also try clearing the app cache/data for Download Manager in Settings>Apps (you probably have to tap Menu>Show System to find it).

Is this only for Chrome? Do other apps update normally?

Thanks B. Diddy and Mustang. I got it to update. Not sure which step did it, but I tried everything suggested and it worked. Yes, all other apps were updating normally.

Glad it's fixed. I've seen several reports about this problem affecting different phones, including mine. It happens with Chrome and Android System Webview and in many cases it fixes on its own. In general if you see an update for both apps at the same time stop Chrome and only update it manually after the System Webview is completely installed.
