Cannot update My Verizon app.

I keep getting error messages when I try to update the My Verizon app. Is there a workaround for this?

Try switching off wi-fi.

Have you applied the .604 OTA update yet? I was unable to update the app until after .604 was applied.

Also as Jovan stated, try 3G, there's many of us who cannot d/l an app on wifi

If you go into Settings > About > System Update, you should be able to just download it instead of waiting

The updated app is awesome. I like the data use widget as well. I can't beleive how much more data this phone uses than my S2 did. I'd say as a rough estimate, it's about 5 or 6 times more data. Of course, I have been using it no stop for a week

I can confirm that it does not work before the app update. As I type I am downloading the update so I can see if it will update correctly afterwards.

I had to update the app, after the system update, to get everything working on MyVerizon. I also installed the widget - it's kind of ugly, but sort of useful, I guess, to have my MB usage showing. Not sure I care about it, since it's Unlimited, but mildly amusing.

Me too! I came from a 9630 Tour (the one without wifi) and I only used about 160mb on a heavy month. I've had the Droid for what, almost a week of my current cycle and my usage is already up to 318mb this month. It's insane? I figured if VZ adopted a plan like AT&T's tiered data I'd be alright with the (potential) 200 mb option. Not even frickin close!
