Cannot update recovery

So, I have re-rooted my GT-i9100G in the hopes of finally flashing OmniROM 5.1 to it. First thing, however, is to replace the recovery. The current "CWM-based recovery 5.xx" is just far too unstable.

I tried using Rashr to update the recovery to CWM Touch but after the flash has been done, going back to the recovery just shows the same old, unstable recovery.

Any suggestions?
