Can't access alarm clock

sometime the last week I received a message to upgrade my Verizon Android phone. After doing so I noticed that the alarm clock that I typically used was visible in the header of the phone but was no longer accessible for controllable. I cannot even find the app in the system settings any longer however alarm continues to go off daily and again is not controllable or seems to be accessible any advice would be helpful on how to access this rogue application. by the way I can't even get information on the App SNAME any longer nor can I recall.
