Can't access HTTPS sites all of a sudden.

Hello,
I've got the very old 4.0.4 running in my Toshiba AT100 tablet. I'd had no issues and was using Opera Mini browser . Today I disabled the extreme data server mode in that browser and immediately had issues.

I suddenly was unable to access any HTTPS sites either through typing the Url or through Google. I uninstalled Opera and tried to use the stock standard Browser app and got "a secure connection could not be established."

I restarted my wifi router and even did a factory reset of the tablet. I've had no issues on my mobile or laptop on the same wifi network but simply cannot load websites on my tablet. I've tried changing all kinds of settings and downloading different browsers but to no avail.

Is there any possibility of fixing the issue ?

Could be because your using a very old andriod version .

I'll concur with mustang7757 on this. This Android version is no longer getting updates and will not conform to current security protocols (even if you try to use a 3rd-party browser there are system-provided protocols used by the browser) and will be unable to connect to secure pages.
