Can't Access Pictures Texted to Me From FB App.

I have a moto g7 Power with Android 9. I can't access pictures that were texted to me to post on FB with the FB app. I can only find camera pictures with the app. I know that pictures are stored in several different areas, and that's what is confusing to me. Perhaps someone can help me find the pictures that I need. Thanks!

Welcome to Android Central! I recall seeing this annoyance with the FB app in the past. If you get no other choice to select from in FB when you want to select an image, then one workaround would be to use your file manager app to move the downloaded photo from the /Pictures/Messages directory (where the Messaging app typically downloads photos to) to the /DCIM/Camera directory. The photo should now show up in your camera roll.
