Can't change background settings on chromecasts?

Just bought a couple of Chromecast 2.0s, and set them up tonight. But when I try to follow the instructions on how to change the background settings, etc, something is amiss. When I go into the device tab on the Google Home app and hit the hamburger menu, the only option it shows is to reboot the chromecast?

Am I missing something here????? I don't see any setup menu in the app at all!

From the main Google Home screen, tap the Devices button at the upper right. Under each device, there should be an option to Edit Backdrop -- no hamburger menu needed. You don't see that?

Nope. For a while this morning I saw that for one of the CCs, but not the other. Now I'm back to seeing nothing but ready to cast.

Ok, wiping out the post to now say after rebooting my router (I thought I had done that already, but guess not!) that now both devices are showing in my Home app and I'm able to change the settings.

We'll see if this lasts!
