Can't Change Facebook Sound

I'm setting my phone up and I wanted to use the same FB notification sound I had on my S7E. Only a small list of sounds show up as a choice so I went into APPS and allowed Facebook to use my storage. That made no difference in the allowable choices so I picked one a little less offensive than the one it was using. Even after I chose a different sound it still uses the one it started off with and it's not even the listed default in the choice list. Anyone else with this issue?

Actual Facebook sound or Facebook Messenger sound I think both of those have separate settings. Also what is your default notification sound set as

The actual Facebook sound. I haven't dug into Messenger yet. My default sound is working correctly. I changed it and it's being used as it should.

Just to add to this, I checked Messenger and it wouldn't show any of my custom sounds either. I turned on storage in APPS and now they are all listed. I'm thinking something is amiss with this version of the Facebook app.
