Can't clear my status bar when on lockscreen?

Hi,

Not sure if anyone can help but think ive found a minor issue with my M9. On the lockscreen I can access the status/notification bar by pulling it down, however when i try to clear it (swipe up) the bar won't seem to go back up. It stays there after several attempts, then eventually the lockscreen will go into my main homescreen. The status bar seems to work fine when on the homescreen though.

Any ideas?

This happens to me if I touch and swipe from the lower portion of the panel. If I touch and swipe from mid ways or above, it works fine. Not sure if it is a bug or not, but it wasn't this way before the update to 5.1.
