can't connect to pc

I can't seem to connect to my pc via usb. When connected the charging indicator is on but the pc doesn't recognize the phone at all. I've tried different ports, cables. I am able to with my other phones. I do have MDM installed. I bought this phone used so don't know if it every worked before. Everything else works fine.

Check the phone's microUSB port for any debris that might be interfering with the data transfer contacts. Blow it out with a can of compressed air.

Now it wont even charge via pc. Charging block still works.

I've tried removing debris out of the port. Didn't help.
Would i be able to take this to VZW? I bought this phone used and I'm on there prepaid. In the status section of the phone it says "assembled on 2/25/14". So it should have at least another month of manufacturer's warranty. But will VZW assist me with the phone since I'm not the orignal owner?

I doubt it--I would guess that they would only help with phones you bought from them.
