Can't connect to tv

I got a rocket fish MHL connector from best buy......that's what they told me would work. Went home and no luck getting it connected. Can't find any info on what I need to have it connect to the tv. What works???

Welcome to Android Central! According to various sites, the Tab 4 7.0 does not support MHL. From what I can tell in the manual, there is also no wireless display function. Your best bet may be to use Chromecast.
