Can't connect to wifi at work, it says unknown device. I have a Samsung Galaxy Core Prime

I'm getting an error message every time I try to connect to the wifi at work. It says unknown device. I checked the device name and it says Samsung Galaxy s5.

Welcome to Android Central! Is the wi-fi secured with a password (i.e., does the wi-fi icon have a lock on it), or is there a welcome page that you have to log into?
