Can't create file shortcut on my Galaxy Tab S9 FE

With my galaxy tab S9 FE I am trying to create a shortcut on my home screen to a specific pdf file.

When I mark the file I want with the checkmark and tap the 3 dots the only option I get is "move to secure folder" No "add shortcut" option.

Any suggestions?

You doing this from My Files app?
When you long press or open it there under More it should give an option to add to your Home screen

I can confirm that there's an Add to Homescreen option using the My Files app on my Tab S9 FE+.

Is this PDF file actually saved locally on the device, or is it in your Google Drive or OneDrive in the cloud?
