Cant decide which phone to use

i have both a droidx and x2 - both are pretty beaten up and, to be honest, i haven't seen or noticed much of a speed increase or difference when using the X2...suggestions?

I gave up a DroidX (sold it) with GB for an X2 with Froyo.....the X with GB was snappier, no freezing, etc.
I agree with you, there is no noticeable differences between the two. If I would have known that the GB update is now indefinite for the X2, I would have just kept the X.

yeah. I still have both and have switched back and forth and for the life of me, cannot notice any difference in speed or browsing whatsoever - id almost be tempted to say that the X with GB is faster...:'(

Don't you think though that at some point (I know, it should be now) the X2 will get the GB update, it's inevitable. After which the X2 will improve and probably blow the X out of the water. Just given hardware specs.

I think that's why many went from the X to the X2. But here we are with the exact same phone.
The hope is that GB will make the phone more responsive with fewer or no glitches.
Now that Moto and VZ are saying they have no idea if or when there will be an update....I feel a bit mislead.

Understandable, but as mentioned in other threads, it would seem inevitable that the X2 will get GB. But it's frustrating in the interim.

OP, are you trying to decide which one to keep and sell the other or what is the real issue/question? If so, I would keep the X2 probably just because it should have a longer life (receive updates) than the X. But maybe hold on to both until GB does arrive for the X2 and then reassess.
