Cant delete videos from sd card

I have 2.5g of free internal space.
A 16 g sd card w 9.5g available space.
Videos take up about 6g of that space.
I want to delete all my videos, but it says unable to delete, not enough space.
Not enough space internally or on the card??

Welcome to Android Central! That sure doesn't make sense to me either! How are you trying to delete the files -- using My Files, or some other file manager app? What if you Unmount the card (in Settings>Storage), remove it, then insert it into your computer's SD reader -- can you use Windows Explorer to delete the videos?
