Can't dial out?

For the second time, my incredible is not allowing me to open phone on the home screen and the only way I can make a call is if the number is in my contacts. Does anyone else have this problem/know how to fix it?

Are you on just the stock ROM unrooted?

If so this sounds like yet another bug in the stock GB that requires a factory reset.

before you do a reset try updating to 2.3.4

another thread was posted stating it is available
i haven't verified it though

but try updating the OS and if that doesn't work then do a reset

This happened to me two days ago. I did the factory reset yesterday before I knew the 2.3.4 update was out. But when I did the reset, it worked again and I think that put the 2.3.4 on my phone.
