I am trying to download an app from the Play Store via the Wifi but it wouldn't start downloading. However, the app download starts as soon as I switch on Data traffic from by carrier. I can browse, use other apps that require Internet connectivity etc on the Wifi with no problems at all including browsing the play store. But the download won't start.
Here's what I have done
1. Reset my phone to factory settings. Formatted the SD Card and inserted again. But still no solution.
2. Created a new Google account and used that account to download from play store but not working still.
3. I've also tried to start a download using data traffic and then switched to Wifi but still not working. The download just stopped and resumed as soon as I enabled data traffic and Wifi off.
My device:
Xperia Neo V running official ICS (Android 4.0.4) from Sony.
Any help that could solve my problem would be appreciated.
