Can't download apps after factory reset

[AC Question]

I had to factory reset my phone. After I did that, market on the phone keeps crashing. Message that pops up "the application market (prices Com. Android. Vending) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. ". This is my second device this has happened to, and it is beyond frustrating. My devices are: Archos Internet tablet 7 and droid bionic. I know my devices are old, but I should still be able to use them. I have tried everything that Google searches have brought up and nothing works. Please help!

Try going into your settings and going to applications. When in applications go to the play store and see if you can uninstall updates. This will bring you back to the old,original play store that the device came with. Then you can try to update it from there from almost scratch.
