can't download apps

My nexus 7 doesn't download apps anymore. It's always stuck on "downloading".
I've tried clearing cache and data. Is factory settings my only option now?

I take it you have try rebooting?

Mine wouldn't even open the play store. I did a factory reset and it has worked since. I just got mine yesterday so I didn't have much on it but I was a little upset. Good luck. I hope that works for you.

Has anyone figured this out yet?? Just got mine & I'm Soooooo frustrated. I want apps like words with friends, Facebook.... I get a msg saying app will be downloaded keep shopping. Then I get the little triangle error msg at the bottom. If I had a hammer....

Try clearing cache and data from Download Manager. Settings > Apps > All > Download manager > force stop, clear cache, clear data. I would restart at this point and try the download again.
