After i flashed my nexus 4 & restored all the data, i'm unable to download anything from chrome. It just gives a popup 'Starting download' & it goes off... I'm unable to download any file... Any suggestions ?? Plz help...

Are you using Chrome beta? I am asking this because I have a similar problem where chrome beta won't download anything.

No I'm using chrome 29.0.1547.72...

I checked the download folder... The file isn't there...

Uninstalling & reinstalling updates didn't help me...

The problem is only when I'm trying to download mp3 files...

When you see the downloading notification can you click it to see the status?

I think it's either a) a server issue (try downloading an app or other file to make sure the device is working fine) or b) insufficient storage to handle the file. In which case, you can check the storage and see what you have available.

You can also do what others suggest and use another browser to download the file and see if that works.

No just uninstall all updates then don't update it after. Just jeep it on the older version

Hi I have the same problem. When I go to Google Chrome and download something it says downloading then it says can't create download directory. I tried using es file explorer and on the homepage there is a file called "download". When I click it it says invalid path. I can still download from Google play, but I can't download from the internet.
