Cant download with app browser of my choice with my infinix note 2

Please am using an infinix note 2 any time i try downloading lets say a movie, i usually see an option dat ask for which app i wish to use but all of a sudden i cant again. The second i click on download it starts using that very browser to download. I thought going to settings>apps>chrome or any of the browsers i used> clear default launcher. But it shows grey for not just my browsers but for every other apps. And also there is no default application manager. Please someone help me what can i do. Please
