Can't find pictures on Galaxy S6 when connected to PC with USB

Hi everyone.
I have a Galaxy S6 edge. I am new at the forum and very bad with technology.....
Last time I connected my phone with my laptop with USB, accidentally I deleted the file camera from the DCIM file. Now that I want to transfer photos from the mobile phone to the laptop I cannot see the photos on my pc. Does anyone know how to transfer the photos from my Samsung S6 to laptop?
