Can't flash Rom's

I've tried to flash 2 ROMs recently and am getting a 'prop' error...then it says 'installation aborted.
' One of these ROMs includes the popular Deck ROM from XDA. Any ideas anyone?

I guess I should add I am using CWM version 3.0.2.4. If my recovery is the issue...than I have a question. If I update to the newest version of CWM, will I still be able to restore my Nandroids created on version 3.0.2.4??

Im not sure if recovery is the problem,but to answer sum of your question yes it will restore the nadroid's.
