I've had my S3 since January and I love it. But there's a problem. I go into my applications manager in order to uninstall some apps and I select uninstall, it brings up the screen saying its uninstalling but it gets stuck there, it's driving me crazy because there are a bunch of apps that do that and I just want them gone.

Is there a way to get rid of them be it manually going into the phones memory by plugging it in the computer or should I try a reset?

Have you tried first stopping the app, clearing data and cache before uninstalling? Also, I believe the only way to see those files in your computer (or in your phone, for that matter) is by rooting the device. You could also try by plugging your phone to your computer and managing the device from Kies; I believe it allows you to manage apps, too...

Since it appears that Viber is causing your issue you should take it up with their product team.
Have you tried Force closing the app, and does that cause the OS to crash?

You could try booting into Safe mode http://support.verizonwireless.com/support/devices/knowledge_base.html/59242 to see if you can then uninstall the app.

If none of that pans out you can always perform a Factory Reset.

Demands 8-10 accesses, seems there were over 1,000 responses from folks who couldn't get it to uninstall. :(
