can't go home again

on android 9, if you had multiple pages of home screen, a single tap on the HOME button would return to the currently active home screen, a second tap would return to the default(or primary) page. With the new navigation system, swipe up from bottom edge returns to the currently active home screen page but there's no gesture to return to the default/primary page. You can swipe left or right to go to the next page, but if there are a lot of pages between your current position and the default you could be in for a lot of swipes. If you forget whether you have to go left versus right to get to the default, it's even worse. Anyone have a suggestion?

I dont have any little white dots at the bottom of the page. Are you refering to the navigation buttons (home, escape, recent apps)? They go away when you turn on advanced navigation in order to use the new gestures.
