Cant hear lock/unlock sounds! Please help

I cant hear the lock/unlock sounds on my Inspire. The settings and voulme are all correct. Any idea whats causing this?

The unlock sounds are quite in general, you could only hear it in the totally silent room.

I know its quiet in general, but even in a completely silent room, I cant hear them. If i put my ear next to the speaker, then I can barely hear it, but all other sounds are nice and loud. Any other sugegstions?

Try leaving it off for a day then turning it back on.

Have you tried rebooting the phone as of yet? If not, turn off the lock/unlock sounds and reboot the phone. Then, when it turns back on, turn the sounds back on and see what happens.

There really appears to be no way to adjust the volume or sound on the feedback. I've never noticed because I've never had it turned on.

was it louder before and now quiet?

Perhaps this is related to how lousy the speaker volume is generally.

Ive tried rebooting and still nothing. when it was working, the voulme would be like a 10 for example. Now, its more like a 1. Cant hear squat .
