I understand that my new V will not send voice messages through the stock messaging feature. I've tried both GoSms and Handcent as a workaround and I can send them just fine. However I can't hear them when they are sent to me.
I don't know if this matters but mine go out with an .amr tag (I don't know what this stuff means, I'm sorry) and the friend who voices me- his come in with .qcp. Does this have anything to do with it? He gets my voice messages fine.
It may seem trivial but voice message is important to me and I expected this phone to have it when it said mms capable!
I get texts and photos with no problem. I also tried sending myself a voice message from my old cell phone and still could not hear it on the Optimus V.
Is there a workaround for this?
