Can't Increase My Weather Auto Update

Last night while I was out showing off my phone, I realized that my weather was showing the Sun, when it should have been showing the Moon. When I tried to adjust my auto update from 3 hours to 1...it wouldn't even let me select the feature.

Any suggestions?

First, are we talking about HTC Clock/Weather widget? If we are... first you could just click the Refresh button... next, you opened the Settings, clicked on Update Schedule... what is listed???

yes...the HTC Weather widget. I'm aware of the refresh button, but I'm talking about the UPDATE SCHEDULE. It's darkened, and is set at 3 hours. So, in other words, it won't let me select another option when I press on that option....which is weird because before I had this particular unit...my original TB let me change that option.

Try rebooting your device once, then try changing the options.

I just tried rebooting, but with no luck. Could it be something to do with permissions, or some settings that I may not know about? I'm out of ideas.

Try settings, accounts, weather, set auto refresh to on.

BINGO....that did the trick. Newcomer from the Crackberry world, so I'm still learning. I'll eventually get there.
