Can't install apk files

Hi all,

Can anyone advise why I just couldn't install apk files even though I have allowed installation from 3rd parties at the settings ?

Are you able to install apps from the Play store? Do you have any security software installed that may restricting installation. You noted that you've already got the checkbox enabled that allows for sideloading so these are the only things that I can think of that would affect sideloading.

I am having this same issue. I have the setting checked under security and I am able to install app from the Play store. When installing the APK it goes through the normal process and sits at "installing" then shows up "x app not installed"

Am able to install from Play Store but not the apk.....no security software restrictions....
