Can't login to VM account from phone's browser

As of the "system upgrade" a few weeks ago I can no longer log into my vm account from my phone. I've tried the stock browser, firefox, dolphin, and opera. When I open the login page I get a security certificate error. If I continue and enter my phone number and pin I get a "Whoops" error page.

VM customer service has been less than helpful. Is anyone else having this problem, or is it just me? It's super annoying, because I need to check my minutes, and the Minute Checker for vm app no longer works either, through no fault of the developer, I'm sure. (Btw, it's was a great app when it worked. I love the pie chart widget.)

I am running theKraven's PAC rom, but I had the same issue on mirage.

I'm on such a slow 3G connection that last month when I actually managed to go over 2.5GB and got the throttling notice, I couldn't even notice a difference.
I have LBE Privacy Guard which has an option to track my Data usage.

The thing that's important to me are tracking the minutes.

Thanks tli for the link.

Yea i loved that little app, hope the dev will update it.

The technical staff responsible for this VM "system upgrade" screwed it up royally. Even in parts of this 'working' VM site, the minutes-usage info is showing incorrectly as zero. Thus, the developer of that Minute Checker app couldn't even update it until VM gets its act together with this "system upgrade" and have their site up and running correctly again--in spite of the text message that some of us received claiming that the upgrade has been completed. Unbelievably such incompetency, such Mickey Mouse technical operation... It's so obvious that they don't have any experience in designing, testing, maintaining and deploying system developments. This has been ongoing for at least several months now since the upgrade announcement was made public back in Nov. Anywhere else, these guys would've been fired...

I sent the dev an email with the source for my account page. Hopefully they can work it out, Cuz that app was great. It came with a pie chart widget that showed minutes and progress thru the month and changed colors depending on how fast you were burning thru them.

It also flashed a popup of the actually minutes left when connecting to a call.

I got pretty dependent on that app.

I'm gonna take a crack at fixing the "charged on" field so that the month bar on the pie chart widget and the color will be fixed. I've never used apktool, so I'm gonna have a lot of reading and installing to do. I'll let you guys know if I can fix anything.

APK MultiTool is what you need.
You know where to go. Make sure you have the correct path to the adb.exe.

Once you install the latest Java jdk6 (same place) you need to delete the old class path and put the new class path to the jdk6's java.exe.

There is also a neat little framework-res.apk utility that's not in there yet (working on it though).

APK MultiTool is way easier to use and has more functionality.
Any questions give me a holler.

I'll check that out. I already have the jdk and SDK running and in my path. It all seems straightforward enough.

Do you have the java.exe in your class path though ? This is most important. It will not function properly with the java.exe just in your path. It will not function properly with the old class path still in the class path.
It is a most awesome utility program when set up properly.
