Cant make calls or texts on samsung S7 Help please!

Hello, I don't know if I've posted in the right section but my phone is an S7.

I recently bought a phone and I wanted to keep the same number so I put the sim card from my old phone [ee] into my Samsung s7. it registers on EE and it says EE in the top left corner but I'm not able to make calls, it just cuts out and says call ended.

Any help is much appreciated!

Welcome to Android Central! Tell us the exact model number of the S7 in Settings>About Phone. It's possible that the variant you have doesn't support EE's network bands.
