Welcome to Android Central! What kind of phone are you using? Have you rooted it or downloaded any new software? What about texting -- is that working? Can you get a signal?

I've been receiving these texts as well I don't know where they're coming from. the number that they come from is "8900" I'll attach the 2 variations I've received.
