Can't open micro sd slot on my Samsung Tab A 2017

The slot tool doesn't insert into the hole at the end of the card tray. Anyone else have this experience?

Welcome to Android Central! Are you saying it doesn't fit, or nothing happens when you insert? When you insert, you have to push to eject the tray.

If the tool doesn't fit, use a safety pin or any other fine needle.

Not a needle, but a large paper clip, straightened. Otherwise, use a stiff wire with with a blunt end, and make sure it us inserted straight in, so you push n the ejection lever. You may have already broken the lever inside.
