Can't pair my Oneplus to my car stereo, eventhough the PIN is correct

I have a Oneplus one phone (android version 4.4.4), and my car stereo is a JVC. When I try to pair them via Bluetooth they both show the same PIN number, but from some reason the phone can't connect (after I allow the pairing).

Welcome to Android Central! Does it actually give you a message saying it couldn't be paired? Or are they paired, but just not connecting and allowing the stereo to play what's on the phone?

Also keep in mind when you update to lollipop, Bluetooth functionality "may" be better.
