Can't pair with Bose Soundlink Color 2

[AC Question]

Recently bought a Bose Soundlink Color 2 and can't get it to connect with my HTC 10 using Bluetooth. It will recognize the device when i scan, and it shows a last pair date but when i try to connect it says "unable to connect to Bose..."

i tried unpair from the HT, and clearing the connections in the speaker. it will connect to my Galaxy tab and to ios devices.

Any help appreciated - I like the speaker but it won't work if I can't connect.
