Question Can't remove floating icon

My 9 month old was holding my phone this morning and somehow managed to create this annoying floating shortcut for the Phone app in the bottom left corner of my screen (using a Galaxy Note10). I've encountered these before and managed to delete them by holding and dragging to the "remove" pill that appears on screen, but I can't do that this time because the floating shortcut seems to be too close to the edge of the screen to even touch it. Pressing and holding does nothing. Pressing it at all does nothing (doesn't even open the Phone app). Is there another way to get rid of it or am I stuck with it?

Solution
The floating notifications setting was set to "bubbles" - but switching it to "off" didn't remove the icon.
It's only the phone app, yes. It won't let me tap the icon at all - it's like it's too close to the edge of the screen to even register a tap at all.
So after turning it off reboot the device see if it goes away

Hi @mustang7757 ! Thanks for the suggestion. I've tried it but unfortunately it hasn't removed the floating icon. :(

Was it on floating Notifications though?
Is it only phone app?
Can you tap to open a small menu ?

Unfortunately this didn't work for the bubble in Lastpass android app. Does anyone know how to remove the bubble for Lastpass? I tried to ask the question on their support page with no luck with even posting the question!

Welcome to Android Central! Can you show us a screenshot of what that looks like? http://forums.androidcentral.com/ge...ide-how-post-screenshots-android-central.html

EDIT: It might be the Accessibility button. Go to Settings>Accessibility>LastPass and make sure the LastPass Shortcut toggle is turned off.

Wow, one the other weird things about this is that it you can't see it on a screen shot but incredibly while trying to catch the bubble for a shot, and after tapping the square menu button at the bottom right to expose the current active apps and moving the bubble to see if I could put it in a place where a screen shot would catch it, a red button appeared at the bottom and suddenly I could move the bubble there & text appeared asking if I wanted to remove it! Serendipity strikes again!! I've been trying for days! I should mention that my phone updated to android 14 this morning so maybe that was the reason it worked today and if anyone else has this problem they might have to try both things! Thanks for the help, Susan

Glad you figured it out! For future reference, you may want to experiment with the Accessibility option for LastPass to see if it comes back.

BTW, I did get a response from LP support which suggested changing Accessability4 setting & I tried changing them but it made no difference! And the weird thing about it was the bubble did absolutely nothing and it was constantly there whether I was logged in or not. I can't think of any reason for it to be there. It didn't activate or do any thing useful. I was so annoying that I started thinking about switching to the password manager your colleague uses. Not very good PR!

Try clearing the apps cache then Force stop it

Sorry, I'm a little confused -- are you still having the problem, or are you just describing your experience with LastPass support before you actually were able to solve the problem?
