This King Tut rap song and Jeanette McCurdy were free MP3 of the day. They are not pinned for offline but still show in my offline only list.

If I remove can I still download again even though they no longer free MP3 of day? Is that why they won't go away? How to clear for space? I can't find.

To clear them from offline you need to go into the settings and clear the cache. You must have listened to them. GP stores songs that you've listened to in a buffer type system but I can't find details of how much space it uses.

To get rid of them I went to the play site and deleted them. I think that's permanent unless they are continued as free. They seem to have a fair amount of "free" songs rotating in. Most of which I can't stand but that's personal taste.

since you listened to the song once it cached the song on your mobile. thats why you see it offline.

yes, if you claimed the free song you still can listen to it later anytime you want but dont go to play music website and delete it permanently. if you delete it from phone it can still be downloaded later

OK thanks. Clearing cache removed 188mb. I had the monthly picks downloaded too. I verified by turning off WiFi because they still showed. I cleared data on the music app and that reset my "on device" list and now they are gone.
