Can't reply to texts??

Do I just got this watch for Xmas and I love it! I have a Samsung note 4 that I'm using with my watch g r. So I see that you can reply to emails with the voice dictation but I can't with texts? Every time I get a text I scroll over and hit reply but all it does is open the text messaging app on my phone. It's doesn't let me reply from my watch. Anyone else have this? Thanks.

Are you using hangouts? It might not work with Samsung's stock messaging app.

I've been using Google Messenger for sms. I'm able to reply on the watch to text messages. This sms app was launched by Google back in mid-November. I find it better than Hangouts.

It works great with Textra. I haven't tried it with any other apps.
