Hi

I have a problem for a few days. The story is that I installed Custom ROM and it stop asking for unlock code when I insert a new carrier sim card. Somebody told me to restore to Stock Firmware. I used "KDS Firmware Update" to push Stock Firmware from my PC but when the phone restart to install Stock Firmware, Custom Recovery Mode appear instead of Stock Recovery Mode. As the result, it failed to install.

I'm looking for a way to restore Stock Recovery Mode but I found nothing. Now, I'm asking for someone to tell me how to do it or give me the Stock Recovery Image zip for my LG Optimus G E973.

Thanks in advanced.

I don't know about your phone but on mine this is what I'd do.

On your pc unzip your stock firmware and extract the recovery.img
Reboot your phone into fastboot mode.
Open a command line on pc and use fastboot to flash the stock recovery back onto phone

fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash recovery2 recovery.img

That should work

Unfortunately I don't. My firmware's come in update.zip format.
You'll have to do some research to find out how to decompile them or post in the forum for you're phone to see if someone has the stock recovery file.
Or search the net for the recovery file for your phone.
That's the only thing I could suggest unless someone else pipes in.
