Can't Seem to disable bixby in new Pie Update S9.

I have tried all the tips here. can't seem to get the right connection to get it to stop. hate hate hate bixby. some assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Purchase Package Disabler Pro and kill it completely.

I installed BxActions and remapped it to run my flashlight. Not perfect, but it works pretty good..

Just got an answer from samsung that with android 9 it is now impossible to disable bixby button.

I'm still on Oreo. I have disabled Bixby the first day I got my S9+. So with getting (eventually) the Pie update will my Bixby be reactivated?

Always a good idea, they say, to enable again before updates, JIC.

Samsung Apps will also push Bixby 2.0 after Pie is installed.

BxActions sounds iffy post-9.0

I updated to Pie and have done everything listed here. I even checked in "running services" and "stopped" one of the Bixbie services. Still, it's not disabled. I'm pissed because I cannot now use voice control to take pictures. Impossible while Bixbie voice wake up is on.

Can't you just turn off voice wake-up in Bixby's settings?
