Can't send an SMS to one number... (my partner.)

we both have Hauwei nova phones, her a nova 4, me a nova 5. We're with Telstra. For some reason, she can't send me an SMS, but can call me. She can SMS other people. Only I can't be reached. I can SMS her, and she receives it. I don't think either of us is blocked, and we've rebooted phones. It's only been like this for the last couple of days.

It's irritating as F, since we do a lot of SMS communication. Any ideas appreciated.

Tell her to go to settings-apps-messages (name of messaging app) and clear the cache and clear the data and force stop. Then reopen the app and try again to send an sms.

I like your login, as a catgrrl myself. Thanks for the suggestion. I'd tried clearing the cache before. I did the data and force stop, and it still doesn't work. Any other ideas?
