Can't send messages using Google Assistant

I have bought the new TicWatch Pro and i can ONLY reply messages using my voice BUT i never can send messages using google assistant like i made ago on Android Wear 1.0.

For example if i say: "Ok google, send whatsapp to Carlos..." Appears an error message and whatsapp never be sent,
¿It this a problem of Wear 2.0?

Same issue here. I saw that downloading the Messages app to the watch should fix it but that didn't help for me

I've heard downloading an older version of the Google app may fix this (on the phone). That said, my Google app just updated today so when my watch is all charged up I may try again

Edit - latest Google app works. 9.10.7.21
