Can't send texts while connected to Private Internet Access VPN

As the title says... I can receive texts but can not send them. I can surf the net, etc just csnt send texts. Anyone run into this or know of a solution?

Had the same problem. I have the s6 on verizon using purevpn. I could receive text but could not send. All I did was turn off advanced calling and I was able to send outgoing text. After i was able to send texts i went back in and turned on advanced calling. I am still able to send outgoing texts. Hope it works for you.

I actually found a different work around. I ended up going into my mobile networks and u checking global.. Then rechecking it.. Don't know what it does but it works haha.

Try sending a very short SMS over mobile package, usually VPN ignore such short SMSs, if it goes through then your VPN connection has problems. I think you should contact PIA customer support.
