Can't send texts

I have had my Ally for less than a week (1st android phone ever!!), and the last 2 days, every once in awhile--when I try to send a text, it keeps saying "Sending.." but it won't actually send the text until I turn the phone off and back on again. (and yes, all my bars are there, so it's not like I'm in a dead zone)

Is anyone else having this problem and/or anyone know a fix for this?

I was having the same problem for the past 2 days. This morning I powered down and took out the battery. So far, it's working much better. We'll see how long it lasts. I've my my Ally since August, and for the most part, love it!!! Liz
