Can't shake that feeling

Love my edge, but every time I look at it sitting in it's case with those exposed sides I just have nightmares about it falling and cracking. Yes, the case protects the back, corners and the sides,but I know the first time I drop it it will land right on the exposed sides of the screen.

You will get the bad on both models. Keep in mind all of the outages that the BlackBerry's have, like the one that has plagued a variety of users over the past two days.

I hope that it continues to work for you. I had an issue once, reset it and have yet to have an issue since.

I have the same phone. I've dropped it from about chest height (I'm 5'8") and it landed screen down. Didn't do anything

Same feeling here. Have run an Obliq case and UAG and have the feeling. My wife's edge has the Sup case Unicorn beetle, and hers has superior protection

Get a SquareTrade plan, then you won't have to worry about dropping it!

If it's any consolation to you, the first time I dropped my phone, it landed on it's corners. Perfectly fine now and in a case.

I'd had the edge for about a week, with an Obliq. Dropped from about 4 feet and it cracked in the bottom right corner. Granted, this was onto a concrete floor but with the case and the low drop height I was somewhat surprised. Replaced it, and still LOVE the edge but I now now your same fear can be real!

She loves it! She is a diehard Otterbox user, and says the Unicorn Beetle is just as nice if not nicer than the otterbox
