Can't sign into google account

I just got a epic 4g touch and i'm coming from a htc hero

I can't sign into my google account from the epic 4g touch
it gives me an error every time.
i'm activated on sprint and I have great 3g and 4g signal..

Do I have to log off the other device?

Your account could be locked. Try Googling "gmail unlock" and see if that helps.

I figured it out, it was the 2 step CRAP

They did that to my account a while back. I finally disabled it... Eventually. It totally sucked! Glad you got it sorted out!
