Can't start the wifi on my Galaxy Note?!? turns off every time I try to turn it on

In the last week I can't start my wifi... I turn it on but it just keeps turning off.
Has anybody else encountered such a problem?!
Turning the device off and on worked for a couple of days but now nothing helps.. I updated the OS to 4.0.4 but nothing changed...
Any suggestions?!

I had that problem when my workplace first started wifi. It seemed like everyone else could get it but not me. Mine would connect/disconnect. Finally the lazy IT person did something or other and it's worked fine ever since. Are you having problems with various wifi sites or just one site? I know when I thought my Note wouldn't get wifi, I found wifi settings on several menus. Maybe some setting on your Note got changed, or maybe it's the wifi itself.

My Captivate used to do this. A factory reset fixed it.
