Can't sync S Health data to phone

Purchased a Gear S2 today and also installed S Health on my S6 Edge. The watch and phone are paired with Bluetooth (I can access the watch with the Samsung Gear app on the phone). However I can't seem to get S Health data to sync between the two devices. For example, I have a number of steps accumulated on the watch, but in the phone app it still says zero.

Any thoughts?

Disregard. Even though Google Play Store said all apps were up to date, I was able to manually update S Health. This apparently added support for the Gear S2 and now everything is working fine.

Feel free to delete the thread. I'll leave it here in case anyone else runs into a similar problem.
