Can't tell if screen protector or screen scratched

Were the scratches there before you put on the screen protector? Is the screen protector new or old?

The screen protector is kind of old, and no there were no scratches before

If the screen protector doesn't have obvious scratches that break the film, the scratches must be on the screen protector. Unless you drop the phone and the screen break inside~
