Can't tranfer music into USB music folder

I jus bought a Huawei P9 Lite, I connect it with USB into my computer, I open the files, the files appear, I go to the Music folder, I try to drag mp3 files into the folder, but it doesn't work. I'm having a small stop symbol when I try to drag it in. I've been searching everywhere but there's no answer. Can someone please help me out?

Instead of dragging and dropping, can you copy and paste?

Also, what kind of connection is it? Can you put any files on to the phone? Maybe you need to switch the setting to MTP? What kind of computer are you using?

Hi xsparkzx, how did u manage to connect your phone to your PC? I have to manually choose under Settings, Select USB Configuration, Media Transfer Protocol (MTP) everytime I connect to PC. Is there any way to setup so that it automatically connects to PC? I don't hv this problem with my previous phone, Samsung Galaxy Mega 2. Pls help thanks.
